Hi

I hav recently purchased a 98 2.0xsi. Fantastic mechanically and
driving however one (or maybe more) problem:

They are all electric based and are as follow:
1)Speedo and therefore mileage does not work (lighst are on but no
movement on either)
2) The internal fan is dead no matter where I position the controls,
the same is true for the stereo and air con)
3) While checking the fuses I seem to have done "something" to the
alarm. Evrey time I enter or leave the vehicle or indeed turn it on
the healights flash.

All fuses appear to be intact but did notice there is no relay at the
bottom of the internal fuse board (closest to the fuses) where there
is a gap to plug it in.

Any help (mainly the headlight flashing and fan controls appreciated.
It may be the radio is related to the problem but if not I can run a
new feed easily enough.

Thanks
