>hi there alan the fault you are describing is caused by what is
known as a rearstat. this is a resistor that controls the fan
speeds. this is easy to replace and you will find it very close to
the fan motor if you look at the wiring loom to the fan you will
notice that a couple of wires go to another plug usualy in the
heater control box unplug the switch the resistor is usualy held in
by a couple of 8mm bolts then just remove and replace. as for your
clock that will be the bulb gentley pull the plastic cover of
(gentle finger pressure) this will reveal the clock there will be 2
torx screws remove these and the clock housing can be removed the
bulb is in the back. i hope this helps
