a good service can make an awful lot of difference especialy the fuel
filter I have found, also I run diesel injector cleaner in my tank
every so often.I have had mine for 7 yrs , 1998 model with 118000 on
clock and it does between 40 and 45 depending on roads etc, though on
a long run it gets much higher mileage. we went from birmingham to
perth, scotland and most of the way back, well over 700 miles on a
full tank, but i was driving at 55-60 all the way to conserve fuel.ps
mine has had a stage 1 tune as well to give a bit more power
