hi mate i had a mechanic i know check the car and he found it was the solanoid
on the starter motor so a new one was fitted thanks for the help mate

When you say you turn the key on and off about 4 times, when it
eventually does turn over does it sound ok or does it sound slow and
laboured? If it's slow I'd get a second opinion on the condition of the
battery (Not just the charge level). I had a similar problem:

If when it turns over it sounds fine, I'd bet it's a faulty earth
connection somewhere.
