My Dturbo has had its 'water in fuel light' come on recently. Whilst
I was at a peugeot garage recently i asked a mechanic what was wrong,
he told me that when the car was built (1996) the quality of diesel
was rather poor, therefore water was easily absorbed. Diesel nowadays
is far superior so the water isn't a problem. To drain the water
there is a screw plug just beside the fuel pump. Twist and water will
trickle out, (you can uses the pump located at the left of the
enginge to incease the flow) as soon as you smell diesel close the
plug. You can also diconnect this warning light by detaching the
circuit's sensor, which is located behind the pump.
Hope this helps.
With regards to the ABS, my car doesn't have it so i'm clueless about
that....Sorry!!
