common fault i'm afraid.pull the pipe off the back of the washer jet.get someone
to operate the washers.if you get a good flow of water it is probably a blocked
nozzle.i clear mine using an air line and nozzle gun.try blowing from the back
of the nozzle.reconnect pipe and see if it has cleared.sometimes i blow from
thetop of the nozzle through to the under bonnet side.usually manage to clear
it.the nozzles are very fine and block very easily.good luck Nev

Subject: [Stuart's Peugeot 306 Club] Screen Washer Bother

I am having some trouble with the front screen washer. When I try to squirt
the water, i hear the motor, but only a trickle of water comes out of the jet
and runs down the bonnet. it has literally stopped overnight.

i checked a haynes manual and it seems a bit of a git to get to.

has anyone else experienced this.

i have a 1999 306 lxtd.

cheers,

Steve
