Dear All

I have a N reg (96) XRDT 306 which just recently has started to
steam up the windscreen when asked to demist, produces a
very unpleasant "hot" smell when heater fan is turned on and is
leaking large quantities of fluid (slightly viscose) onto passenger
side matwell carpet. Low level coolant light came on a few days
ago and I have checked coolant levels and topped up
accordingly.

Is it likely I have a split, blocked or deceased heater matrix or is
there something else I should know about !!!

Any knowledge from out there regarding this problem would be
very welcome !
