Cheers, I'll try that.

Can anyone recommend a good crook lock, I don't really want a full steering
wheel cover lock. I know that these locks are really just a detterent but I
want a lock that will slow them down as much as possible.
Also where is the cheapest place to get them from (either high street or
on-line)

James

It sounds like the connector isn't designed for that exact stereo.
You can easily sort it out though.

Basically there are two live feeds to the radio. One that is always
connected and one that only connects when the car is switched on
(accessory feed)

It sounds like the accessory feed is the only one powering the radio.
This means that when you switch off the car it completely disconnects
the radios power supply. So it looses it's memory.

You should have a wiring diagram in the manual for your stereo. You
then need to take a multimeter and test all the wires going into the
ISO connector. You should find one that is always live even when the
car is switched off.

You then need to make sure that is connected to the correct pin (use
the wiring diagram) You should find it is connected to a blank pin or
something like that you then simply need to swap it round so it
connects.

Hope that helps
