Dear Chris, As it is for me with Hans, what you write is so clear and
so inspirational and always leaves me richer in the treasures of the
Kingdom than I was before.
I benefited from your references to the "rich man" in the Gospels.
Your entire letter is beautifully written. The purity of the Truth,
as well as your commitment to it, is a blessing ... to you and those
of us with whom you share it. You have a way of expressing such
purity and Truth in your writings and you do it so gently and clearly.
I want only to address your last paragraph: "But I just can't imagine
how anyone wh'd received that invitation and understood for a moment
just what it meant could entertain for a fraction of a second the
possibility of saying no."
I can't either Chris; but there are many who are saying "yes" to the
call but deliberating about whether becoming a member of the
Lectorium is part of that "yes" for them.
The fact that one's physical presence at the Lectorium services is a
requirement and I cannot attend those services is another reason I am
not sure if this organization is right for me.
But I am asking for guidance within on this important matter and
absorbing the guidance you and Hans are sharing so generously on this
List.
