Re: Desert Island Books (was: Looking forward to new postings)

Hello to all,

I would like to introduce myself to the group. My name is Michael
Quinton and I am a pupil of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum. I have been
with the school for quite a few years now.

I have been reading your posts from the Harry Potter For Seekers
site but have not contributed in any way since I am not really
familiar with the Harry Potter books. I have watched all the films
and the path of liberation is clearly represented within the story.
Since I am not too familiar with who is who in the story then I
decided that it would be best not to write about it. Now that Hans
has created the Summa Scientia site for which I would like to thank
him and to applaud him for all his heartfelt and genuine dedication
to the path, I now feel that I can participate since the context is
much more familiar to me.

Since the question regarding our Desert Island book has been put
foward I would sincerely answer that I wouldn't know which book to
take along with me.

All great spiritual books say the same thing but look at the path
from different angles. All the angles are needed but the genuine
answers to all our questions come from the heart. I feel that the
greatest teacher of all is the inner voice that comes from within
and if we learn how to hear it then it will unravel all mysteries.

If we do believe that we can achieve this then it will become
possible. In the Bible it specifies that if we seek then we shall
find. It is very hard to know which voice is actually speaking
through us especially since there is so much noise going on within
us but somehow we are able to sense when the true voice does
actually make itself heard over all the babel that tries to subdue
it with their incessant drone.

When the true voice speaks then doors open within our reality and
previous fears and doubts disappear away. The power of the truth is
not to be underestimated. It really can move mountains! This is how
I perceive the Expecto Patronus spell that is referred to in Harry
Potter.

The truth is always there, always has been and always will be
because it is absolute. All we have to do is to tap into it.

I look foward to hearing from you and am very excited about the fact
that we will be discussing Jan Van Rijckenbourgh's book "The Coming
New Man".

Best Regards to all.

Michael
