Hi Dean
You said:
That was very interesting. Is there any particular reason for the
fall, and that we can't remember the liberated state where we
fell from? I don't understand how the fall could have happened. But
something in my mind knows that this is valuable information.
Aldo:
Often we see
the fall as something that happened in the past. Saying that something happened
at a point in the past implies time, which is a phenomena of the Physical world.
Time does not exist in the other worlds, where say, the subconscious resides. It
is possible that somehow something happened that caused Humans to fall from the
grace of God. Then again, all creation is within and from God so we can argue
that the ‘fall’ is a path of experience towards realization and
liberation. I think it is easy to get lost in these discussions as they are
very interesting but in my humble opinion, they help but do not lead to
liberation.
What I feel is
the most important is our focus on our task in the here and now, i.e. how does
the concept of the fall affect us in our current state of being.
Could it be
that the ‘fall’ is something that happens every second of the day;
when, metaphorically speaking, we are not facing the Light or nourishing our
Harry? Could ‘falling’ be something that happens whenever we have a
conscious decision to either follow the call of the gnosis or ignore it and
pursue worldly ‘treasures’?
