| Dear Friends, This little news item struck me: "A scene from the first Harry Potter film has topped a new poll of 'The best Moments in Movie History'. The scene, from 2001's 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', came number one in the poll by the Oreo cookie brand, reports Contactmusic. It shows the boy wizard discovering platform nine-and-three-quarters at Kings Cross train station in London before setting off for Hogwarts school for the first time." Reading this gave me a warm fuzzy. To me, platform 9¾ symbolises 13. See http://harrypotterforseekers.com/symbols/other.php#platform9¾. 13 stands for Liberation! 13 is the Thirteenth Aeon, the ark that takes us to the promised land. We're imprisoned by the 12 forces that govern our universe. When we take a trip to No. 13, or, as done by Harry Potter, ¾ of 13, we are entering a new world, a magical world, a world where we learn how to liberate ourselves from evil, suffering and death. I'm glad that this is the best moment in film history! Love from Hans |
