Hello Summa Scientia members. When I emailed Hans apologizing for not
contributing more often to discussions, my question about the purpose of the
site arose out of an observation that only a few people were keeping the
discussion going. Hans assured me that this is common to all internet discussion
groups. I replied that this(seeming division into passive and active)was in
itself, worthy of discussion. Why is it that some give up after a few postings
or are disinclined to continue posting or attending the discussion and why do
others keep up the good work with strenuous intent?
In my observation there is a dynamic which emerges in any group and the creating
of this dynamic has to do with everyone including the leaders.
So I would ask the chief contributors to this group to put forward their
opinions on this matter bearing in mind that the perceived division is a natural
phenomena and that natural phenomena may undergo renewal and transformation.
