The Telstar Owners Association was established in 1980. It has over the years kept owners and interested members in touch with each other, with a view to exchange ideas, pass on information, to organize meetings and to update knowledge on all matters to do with ownership.

The association has members as far afield as Europe, Australia, America, Canada and the Middle East. Some owners have voyaged transatlantic and sailed around the world. Currently we have approximately 100 members of which the majority are owners or would be owners. As approximately 200 boats were built there is still scope for our membership to increase.

There are three main newsletters per year and when possible technical sheets, on topics raised by members. Membership is £15 per year (£18 overseas) and is due in January, cheques should be made payable to “Telstar Owners Association”. We are also affiliated to MOCRA (Multihull Offshore Cruising and Racing Association), which also holds countrywide events for all types of multihulls and has links with other multihull sailors in Europe.
