My opinion of this posting:

As any horror fan knows. "The Grudge" and "Evil Dead" have different
directors.
The Evil Dead was directed by Sam Raimi. While The Grudge and the
original Ju-On were directed by Takashi Shimizu.

As of today I did not see anything on Sam Raimi's website about a
reality series.
Perhaps the website just hasn't been updated yet. Or maybe I just
didn't see it ?

If this is a legitimate casting notice why is the only contact
information an anonymous free E-mail account? The casting director's
name isn't even listed.

A legitimate casting notice should always contain the following
information.

01) A contact name. Either the casting director or one of his/her
assistants.

02) The directors name.

03) The title.

04) An approximate start and end date for the production.

05) Is the job paid, not paid, or deferred pay?

06) Is this a union or non union show.

07) There should be a mailing address for you to send in your head
shot. Scammers rarely have an actual mailing address.

08) There should also be a phone number. I always list my actual cell
number on any casting notice that I post.

09) What format is to be used? 35mm, HD, Mini-DV, etc.

10) Are meals provided?

11) A brief synopsis of the show.

12) Location

13) If travel is involved. Are housing and travel expenses provided.
