A new project by writer/director Frank Mosley, the cast and crew is a
melting pot of award winning local talent collaborating and developing
the project into new mediums. HOT/COLD is an experimental narrative
about disillusioned people stuck in a purgatory of uncertainty, the
film's non-linear structure encouraging you to determine whether their
fates are justified. Past, present, and future are displaced as we see
three different women of three different ages simultaneously mirroring
one another's failures and victories.
Currently accepting headshots/resumes for the roles of:
Nick – A career driven family man in his late 20's or early 30's. He
is quite looking forward to the birth of his first child, however
comes into conflict with his wife over the motivating factors and
stipulations surrounding it. Nick is also plagued by an obsessed
office assistant who has fabricated an imaginary relationship with him
mirrored around his marriage to Paula.
Mother – A woman in her late 40's or 50's who is having a midlife
crisis and meticulously trying to get her life back exactly the way it
was before her marriage fell apart. Self-absorbed, she pays little
attention as her daughter details out the fantasy utopia she has
created with her boss, Nick.
