A traditional milonga aims to create a social ambiance that is conducive to that elusive state of real tango - " the getting into the zone " - that many tango dancers strive for.

This is achieved through promoting the importance of the embrace, and promoting the social codes such as "Mirada" "Cabeceo" and good floor craft.

To facilitate better dancing, the most danceable Golden Age Tango music is played in tandas with cortinas as used in the traditional salons of Buenos Aires.

We are a not-for-profit club funded by subscription. Membership is Ł25 and provides free entry to events and practicas until end of September 2013, or sooner depending on cost of running events
