Hi Ian
Just a quick line to say thanks for a great day yesterday and
please pass on my thanks to the rest of the guys.
I will ensure that I am free for the next Sunday event or
anything else that comes up in the meantime.
I hope my next foray into DBA, DBM or DBMM is blessed with
better pips, 4 1’s on the trot for movement left me with little decisions
to make. I must admit to feeling a bit in the deep end due to lack of knowledge
but it was great to be included in the game.
My 2 commands of Early Imperial Roman infantry turned up today
and at £20 each I feel the painting quality is good. I will bring them to show
you all next time.
Thanks again.
Robert

Some may remember Mike from the Gutisko; Russian Civil War skirmish
game (he played the Farmers/Landowners). Pete and Bill.W also played
in that game, but arrived later-on (can't remember who they played,
but Bill was involved in the "pig-pen" encounter, and I think Pete
was the downed British Pilot, but I'm not certain). We ought to give
that another go if the Sunday games become more regular.
