Hi Ian
After closer inspection of the 2 commands there are some slight
differences to what was listed on Ebay. In addition to this 2 elements of archers
have 4 figures but the other 6 elements have only 2 figures each. Still a fair
buy for £40 but I may need some advice on rebasing the archer elements to 4 to
a base.
I think part of the problem yesterday was being irregular and on
defence. Our opponents got all the pips and we had to react to their moves with
insufficient pips.
It’s a shame the next open day is a way off. I will pencil
it in as well as the tourney.
Am I still ok to join you all in travelling to Triples on March
15th?
Do you know the best place to get one of your DBMM books so I
can try and build my knowledge up? I suppose there would be copies at Triples.

It was good to have you along too.
You seemed to pick up the basics easily enough.
Glad you're not too annoyed about my dice-rolling skills.! Guy
reminded me that I did a similar thing for him when he first payed =)
Sounds like you could be practicing DBA with a few Roman Cvil War
battles. You can always use empty bases for any elements you're shrt
of for the time being.
The next open day for gamers will be the last week in April. However,
if you want to come along on the 30th March to watch the tourney,
feel free.
