Rob,
http://www.caliverbooks.com are probably your best bet for a copy of
the DBMM rules. They do mail order and their P&P charges are quite
reasonable. They're usually in attendance at Triples so you could
pick up a copy then..
I'm hoping to run a "clinic" on basing & building terrain sometime
soon - you're more than welcome to come along to that if you're free..
The key to success at DBMM is having a plan, and sticking to it -
don't allow yourself to fall into the trap of merely reacting to your
opponent's moves. Whilst PiPs are important, a good plan should not
be disrupted by occasional low PiP scores. Also, stick with your
plan - the quicker you engage your opponent in combat, the more
likely he'll have to spend precious PiPs to win/support that combat,
meaning he'll be less inclined to spend PiPs on his column of LH
snaking about behind your lines..
hugs
Bob
