The word is out and the buzz is already growing for Newcastles newest and hottest rock band "The Urge" who came together under a year ago and have already recorded their debut album "Lunch At The Ladygarden". They set out to write some kick ass rock 'n' roll songs with great strong melodies and that's just what they achieved. The band is good friends with legendary AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and on hearing the album he liked it so much he came down and hung out in the studio for a beer or two and ended up singing on one of the tracks "Blue Steel". And with the album now completed the band is embarking on live dates so it won't be long before eveyone is getting THE URGE!
