As those of you who are familiar with The Model Catalogue will know, there has for some time been a hyperlink in the product description section of the main catalogue pages that allows visitors to create an email with the product's name and a hyperlink to it's location on the site without any appreciable effort. It is a fairly standard feature on internet sites and I hope it has been of use to visitors.
You may be intrested to know I have just improved the system so that the email generated is more friendly (in terms of the default text it generates) and you can now enter the recipients email address into a textbox on the catalogue page itself. If you can't remember the email address simply enter the name or a random letter and click the "Create Email" button. This will create the email in your default email client (MS Outlook or Eudora for example), following which you can correct the addressee before sending.
For those of you who are concerned about privacy please be assured that I do not get access to email addresses that are typed into the web page.
