One of the things I have been trying to find time to do over the last few months is improve the display of newly introduced and popular products on the home page. In the past I have added these items manually and with a link to the correct location in the catalogue. Although this achieved the goal of listing the new items it was quite an inefficient and time consuming method. Because of the delays in publishing were more likely and the list was also prone to go out of date.
To fix things I have created special catalogue pages that automatically display both the newly added products and the most popular items based on recent sales. In addition to essential information about the products the page also allows you to put these items into your shopping basket right on the home page. Quicker and easier for you and me!
