After a long period of sustained absence I'm back posting news! Apologies for the absence ... juggling too many things, I think? Suffice to say we have been busy in the background, learning, developing and of course servicing customers. The rest of the year should be exciting as I have a number of changes planned.
Anyway, the key news is that earlier on this year we re-established contact with Humbrol, reborn as part of the Hornby stable, and so have a steady and reliable supply of Humbrol products again.
The first major release following Hornby's ownership has been the addition of Humbrol's range of acrylic paints. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but they should be good: they have been long enough in development. They have opted for a much wider choice of colours than Revell, nearly on a par with the Xtracrylix range, although this is more down to Revell's approach to mixing paints to achieve the wider range of colours and shades.
The link to the page on the site is below. If anyone has any opinions on these paints please add a comment to this post.
