Hi identityvoid666 and welcome to the
Club.
After reading your behaviours it certainly sounds like
OCD, although I'm not a Doctor of course so I couldn't
say for certain. If these behaviours interfere in
your everyday life and have to be done for you to feel
"right" or comfortable then I would say it is Obsessive
Compulsive Disorder.

Phsychiatrists are overpaid and
some but not all are far from caring but if you can
find a good one then they do help. In my case the most
important thing was being able to be prescribed medication.
The Doctor did this initially but then the
Phsychiatrist took over and increased the dose, after that I
haven't had much dealing with him, it's the Phsychologist
who deals with Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy.

For myself I know I wouldn't have got this far
without the meds, they take the edge off my fears and
worrys and stop me from feeling quite as
anxious.

I think you should go and see your Doctor and tell
him/her the behaviours that you do and see what they
say.

Take care,
Sani.xx
