I dont think the group is dead, just that OCD is a particularly hard illness to
live with. There doesnt seem much understanding in the world. I am involved in
a User Group in Kent as my partner and I both suffer with OCD (his is very
severe) and he has psychotic depression. The group we are involved in has
Patient Forums in the local Unit. Two patients who were in hospital with OCD
were told it wasnt an illness! This ignorance on a psychiatric ward is
disgusting. There is a great need to keep this board going as aside from
Obsessive Action not much else is about.
