hi sweetie-it is chris. i actually had some thoughts on thought control.
first, try to have as busy of a schedulae as possible so that u dont have time
to think. second method might be to talk openly about them. it is weird, but
sometimes what makes the thoughts so overwhelming is that u feel guilty and
shameful about them, but if u can talk openly about them with somebody who wont
judge u, like me for instance, suddenly there is less guilt associated with it
for u dont feel like a "freak" for having those thoughts as u realize a lot of
people have such thoughts, and since there is less guilt, u will think about it
less. i dont know if that makes sense or not-when i talk to u on messanger
next, i will give u an example of what i mean from experiences in ocd. i hope u
r well sweetie.

Hello everybody,its me again!
Just wondering if anyone has any good controlling stratagies of
limiting the amount of intrusive thoughts?
I'm having CBT at the moment but it just doesn't seem to be
working,if anything,i find it patronizing.
Can anyone help me? or have you got any simular stories?
Cheers and hope everyone is ok.
*hugs*
