On a usually Envoro400 service (the1) the 1705 Lincoln - Grantham and
return today (08/08/07) was FX05 GXP(16917) a Volvo B7TL/East Lancs
Myllennium Viking, apparently due to the traffic in Lincoln which with
roadworks at the moment has made the hold-ups worse.

Sorry if this 'smacks' of a bus that is a 'bit' new, but eventually the
Envoro400s will be in the Classic Bus category and in a generation or
two will be a prime candidate for preservation. Myself I like the MCW
Metrobuses even though they are 'a bit long in the tooth' and
Stagecoach seem to withdraw and reinstate at will. Not forgetting that
the EL Vikings will be prime candidates for preservation as well.
