A group to enable those researching Family, Social and Local History in the SOMERTON Hundred of Somerset England to Share information.

From British History Online In 1569 the administrative hundred was made up of the borough of Somerton and the tithings of Long Sutton, West Camel, East Lydford, Littleton, Yeovilton, Aller, Hurcot, Somerton Erleigh, Charlton, and Kingsdon. To these Pitney Plucknett (or Pitney Wearne) had been added by 1582.

Somerset Family History serves as a central entry point for the 40 Somerset Hundreds and will receive announcements of all file uploads to the 40 Hundreds
