This group was originally set up in 2006 to feed into a project by the Sustainable Development Commission (SDC) on tidal power in the UK, including the role of a Severn barrage.
The group now acts as a forum for the sharing of news and information on tidal power among interested stakeholders and experts. It is not intended as a discussion forum, so please send any comments or opinions directly to the sender, or continue your discussions elsewhere.
The membership of this group is moderated to prevent spam and hoax emails. To join, please follow the instructions below, and ensure you provide a few details on your interest in tidal power along with your request.
Further information on the SDC's tidal power project, including the final report, can be found at http://www.sd-commission.org.uk/pages/tidal.html. The links section of this website also includes a wealth of useful information on tidal power.
