I understand your problem, tinycad is more for
schematics and not for pcb design, for SIMPLE pcb
design you can use FREEPCB, at freepcb.com download
the full version 1.2 then the upgrade 1.204, its with
all the footprints you need for your project.give it a
try

This seems to be a glitch, and was just wondering if
anybody else has
had this problem, or knows a solution. I suppose I
could change the
grid units to mm, and use 2.54 mm as the grid. I want
to use 0.1 inch
or 2.54 mm because this is the pin spacing of the IC's
I use.
