When I use the syntax:

R$(refnum) to place R1 on the netlist line where refnum I assume is
the same attribure as reference, it generates R1R1 when reference R1.
It generates R1R2 when reference is R2. Is this some bug?

The R1R1 designates that it is a resistor on sheet 1, as R2R1 would designate a resistor on sheet 2. I don't know how this affects running spice in another...
