I got email from Ryan Bohm <ryan@...> who also has a Trek
laptop with Windows 98. He installed version 2.60.00 and did NOT get
the runtime error.
I'll try this next week and see if it works for me.

I understand that there is limited support for using TC with Windows 98. My problem is that there are no Windows XP drivers for the plotter I have available...

That should also work, but "copy filename.ext com1" should still work as well. You could also use "copy filename.ext lpt1" etc. The "type" command simply...
