I tried your suggestions.

unlocker says nothing locks it
shecview did not help
hijackthis found nothing

on the other hand maybe it helps:
When Tinycad opens it complains about missing libraries, but with no
extensions, and including an ending point.
"cannot open library C:\Programmi\TinyCAD\library\74TTL."

The same applies when I create a new library. The program complains it
cannot create library foo. still with the ending point.
