Try this. Uninstall tinycad, go into the registry, (if you know what your doing), and search for tinycad and remove EVERY occurance. Now install the program....

From previous experience I would still recommend placing pins in symbols on the normal grid rather than fine grid. 2 grid point spacing is then the same as 4...
