Well, just remember, you asked. ;)
There's nothing wrong with guys wearing toe rings. I wear 1 myself, I
like it, and so far I've not come across a woman who doesn't like it.
That said, when I moved to 2 (1 on each foot), I got far less positive
reactions, and when I asked about it, I found that it was "too much".
I say that for 2 reasons. 1 is that women don't find it attractive when
a guy does something that is "too feminine". (overall, yes, there are
some who do, but not *most*, and that's the point) And the other is
based on that - guys (generally) don't want to do anything that is "too
feminine", lest they be seen as gay.
Stepping back a bit, we want to see this 'activity' be more accepted,
right? The only way that will happen is if more guys do it. However, if
it's done in a predominately feminine way, it will only re-inforce the
idea that it's a "thing for girls" and basically scare guys off, thus
ensuring that it doesn't gain acceptance and maintains it's stigma.
As you might have guessed by now, I'm going to say the way you do it is
definitely on the "too feminine" side.
The types of rings you chose are definitely women's rings. Add to that
the sheer number of rings, and the anklet on top of that, and it's
definitely too much.
And your nails take it over the top. Nothing wrong with nail polish.
But certain colors, like red, scream female, *not* male. Silvers and
chromes would be a better choice, and then only with certain outfits
and in certain situations.
Actually, *that* color red isn't too bad (surprisingly), but the length
of your nails is way too long - even for a woman (that's just a bad
look for anyone, regardless of gender).
Now, if your goal _is_ to look feminine, and you aren't interested in
attracting women or whether other guys ever start to accept the wearing
of toe rings, then disregard this I guess. :p lol
But you asked for opinions, and mine is, for a guy, that's way too
feminine and over the top. Lose the anklet(s), change to a wider, more
masculine ring style (they are available in men's styles), consider
cutting back on the number (even down to one unless you absolutely must
have more), and trim those nails short (and straight across - consider
getting a pedicure even), and look into clear polish, or buffing the
nails.
Actually, that red color with the rest of the above *might* work,
depending on what sort of outfit you wore and what the
occasion/situation was. I'd even be curious to see how it would
actually look to see if I was right.
