Just found your site and it is nice to see other men who like to
wear toe rings. I am a straight 30 odd year old male who has just
started to wear a single toe ring on my left foot, next to my little
toe. My girlfriend also wears a toe ring to compliment her feet
which are very pretty and dainty, and always look very clean and
healthy. My feet are a UK 9, and I have been blessed with healthy
looking feet that tan easily with no hair on my toes. I have
received compliments from both genders in the past, saying that my
feet are 'not ugly and are nice looking'. My fear was that other
people would judge me as homosexual or pretentious. After speaking
to my very hippy chick girlfriend, who has now started to 'buff' my
toes??!! my decision was
1 - My girlfriend really likes it
2 - I like the look of it.
3 - It looks really good, kinda hippy and cool!
4 - I kinda get a kick outta girls checking it out.
5 - I will try to not give a XXXX what other people think.
This is my second week now, and if I am honest, I still feel rather
self conscious of wearing my ring, only because I still have not
seen any other men wearing them. This sounds really bad and
judgemental, as we are in the height of our summer, a lot of men are
now wearing flipflops, and it seems to me that a high percentage of
men just have really ugly or rather unhealthy looking feet. My take
on it, is that a lot hetro men, just do not groom themselves like a
lot of gay guys do. If you have translucent, feet with black hairs
on your toes with yellow nails and rock hard skin, why wear a toe
ring. I do feel that it is very hit and miss with feet, because I
have seen some real minging feet on both males and females. You can
spot a person who looks after their feet and a person who could not
care less. It doesn't matter how bad this sounds but the fact of
the matter is, some people are blessed with nice feet and some are
not.
Toe rings are accepted on females because it is accepted that girls
are allowed to dress up their feet with manicures and french polish
etc. Also in most cases, female feet are smaller and more suitable
for toe rings.
I like to groom myself, because it makes me feel good. My circle of
mates, who are real lads, label anything different as 'Gay'. I have
a set of moisturisers etc and well, I am judged and labelled gay.
I would love to hear female and males opinions on this, Just to
know.
I do believe though, no matter what age, gender, size, race, butt
ugly, drop dead gorgeous, gay, straight, Cockney... Whatever If you
want to do something and express yourself, just do it!
