I don't know about it being comparable to men wearing skirts, unless
you mean kilts.
"skirts" are specifically designed for women, and that borders on
cross dressing. I personally don't feel that a desire to wear a toe
ring necessarily means a desire to femininize.
But yeah, something tells me you're right that women probably
wouldn't flat out flock to a place to talk about 1 specific bit of
jewelry.
Those anklets are nice. But I don't know about on a guy, personally.
I wish I currently had a girlfriend I could get one of them for
though. A girl I used to see recommended an anklet to me. My first
inclination was silver. Afterall, what's more masculine than metal,
chrome, and silver? lol But she had a rather strong (and negative)
reaction to that idea. She said that, especially with my toe ring
(and buffed nails) that going with a silver chain anklet (most
especially if it's a thin, elegant/dainty chain) would be too
feminine and a bad idea. Perhaps because I am not a feminine guy in
appearance or personality. Either way, she recommended hemp and/or
leather. She did love my ring and the fact that I wore it though. And
apparently supported my interest in foot decoration. :)

are classiefied as female jewelry however us wearing toe rings still
is not very common. I think it is comparable to men wearing skirts,
only few women would make it the focus of a discussion.
