just wanted to congtaulate Tony his Family and all involved with the
programme. I am a nurse with 20 years experience in caring for the
elderly, in both the acute sector and long term arenas,currently
working in a day hospital in the rehabilitation field. you said it
all!!! as a nation I feel that our senior citizens are at the thin end
of the wedge. they deserve much better services than they are getting
and it's people like you and me that need to make the population of
this country aware of the of the injustices that are happening. i love
my job and feel i am fortunate to work for 3 elderly care consultants
whom are brilliant in their fields of expertise. i just feel i only
get to see the tip of the iceberg of the people whom get referred to
our unit and worry about the people whom slip through the net. well
done to all who were involved with this thought provoking programme.
