Well......
Hello to all new members and all old members too :)
Sorry I've neglected this place for quite a while but no more,
several messages will follow with info and events connected with Tony.
Watch this space.......

Hi people,
I am the newest member here.
Let me introduce myself;
I am Yvette, 29, from the Netherlands ( am I the first Dutch person
here??)
We ( husband and me) are big time team fans. We could watch it on
Discovery. I was sad to find out that they stopped broadcasting it....
Why I joined the group? Well, the man makes me smile.
Bye,
Yvette
Just added a photo of the "Oliver!" album sleeve. The credits (on the
back in print too tiny to photograph well) include......
Workhouse Boys and Fagin's Gang:
Charles Brown, Christopher Cooke, Jonathan Collins, Peter Eveleigh,
Clive Green, Brian Lewis, Dennis Mallard, Barry Newnham, Nicholas
Norman, TONY ROBINSON!

Unfortunately the Time Team club no longer exsists. It was replaced
with the Trench One subscription service. No competitions to win a
place on a dig anymore either which is a shame. Obviously the
competition cost Channel 4 too much!

Sorry for the confusion, hopefully it will be Ok from now on.
May I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Look out for Tony in a TT special on the 27th and Fact or Fiction:
King Harold on the same day, three programmes in a row starting at
5.55 on Channel 4!

Due to problems with the website the Unofficial Tony Robinson website
has moved to :
http://tonyrobinson.port5.com/
There are a few small things to be fixed on there but all the info is
there.
Please keep looking in! An update to the website with lots of new
stuff will be hopefully added in the New Year.
Cally :)
Hi Alex
Alas I'm not too well-versed on Boudiccan matters. Perchance Cally
(archaeology buff, and she to whom we owe the existence of this
group, *smarm*) can shed more light.......
There is also a good place for discussing all sorts of ancient stuff
here http://pub55.ezboard.com/btalkinghistory

Hi and welcome to the club :) :)
We haven't discussed Back and Forth (or anything) very much :)
I enjoyed it, I thought it was quite a good effort but not as good as
the other Blackadders, I think it was different because they
obviously had quite alot of money behind this production and used it
to great effect.
As far as a new series is concerned there are always rumours about it
but as far as i'm aware that is all they are rumours, I did read
somewhere that they may consider doing another one off in 2010 but
where I read this and how true it is I don't know, I'd love them to
do some more Blackadder but I think it is very difficult to get the
cast together, they all moved on to other things after the end of
Blackadder,I know alot of Tony's time is taken up with filming "Time
Team" certainly summer months anyway( well april till October). Makes
me wonder how he manages to do so much else apart from Time Team!!
Maid Marion is a great programme, always thought it was too good for
the kids there are so many adult jokes in it as well, very well
written and as you say Tony makes a great Sherriff :) :)
Nice to have another member, feel free to chat away :) :)

I'm just new to this club, so I don't know if the new Black Adder
Back and Forth has been talked about much. I found out it
existed/watched it yesterday, and it really got me back thinking
about the show again, so that is why I found the site.
I thought that Back and Forth was just fantastic.... it was great to
watch a reunion show like that where they actually put effort into
making it a good show, rather then rely on the fact it is a reunion
show.
I was wondering if there is any talk of having a new season of the
show. I'm from Canada, so I don't know much about British TV, but
from what I understand Black Adder is still very popular over there,
and Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson are well respected comedians.
Anyway, I was glad to find a club for Tony Robinson - He is a very
funny guy. I used to watch Maid Marion just because he was in it...
he is always the perfect cretin/henchman.
.
Hi Ann :)
Glad you joined our rather select band of Tony fans :) Hope we will
eventually gather more members, I tend to post a lot of info on the
Time Team Forum but will make sure that I duplicate all that info on
here from now on so that you don't miss out on anything.
Welcome and have fun :)

Hi everyone,
I was really pleased to find this site and thought I'd join. I've
been following Tony's career for five or six years, since I first saw
him in Blackadder III. I've seen him in all the Blackadder programs,
plus Time Team, My Wonderful Life and Maid Marion and Her Merry Men,
one of my favourites even if it is for kids!
I'm wondering if anyone knows where MMMM episodes can be found. I
have managed to collect almost a full set, thanks to a U.K. pal who
recorded them for me, but she missed half a dozen or so. Have any of
them been put on video apart from the first six?
Thanks,
Ann

Yep it was the episode "Money" in Blackadder II, they are trying to raise money
to pay back the "baby eating Bishop of Bath and Wells" :) :)

Does anyone remember which episode featured Blackadder & Baldrick
trying to go into prostitution? This is driving me completely nuts!

Hi Les,
Tony has been rather a busy boy hasn't he, there's not only the TV
programmes but all the other stuff as well, the number of audio books
he has narrated is HUGE, check out amazon.co.uk for some of them!! I
can see I'll end you bankrupt if I try to get the lot!!!
I'm trying to find videos as well, he has done corporate and school
videos and various cd roms as well. I'll be grateful if you come
across anything not on the website to drop me a line so I can add it
on at a later date.
Think I've seen all the Time Teams except Templecombe I seem to
always miss the beginning or the end!! I think it's on Discovery
channel next week so will have to try to remember to watch it!!
I agree that Time Team has definately increased the interest in
Archaeology in this country, it's a great programme! New series
should start in January :) :)
Hope you enjoy the website
Cally :) :)

I am so glad to find a group dedicated to Tony. I found the website
from channel 4/ Time team and followed it to this group.
I could not believe how many other programmes he had been involved in
other than Blackadder, Time team and Maid Marion.
I am an avid follower of Time Team and have only missed a couple of
programmes which I am waiting for Discovery to repeat.
Tony must have multiplied the number of people interested in
archeology in this country by 10 million at least.
What a super star he is !!!
Cannot wait for the new series to start.
He should be awarded 10 oscars as well as a 10 BAFTA's
LONG LIVE TONY !!!!
Best wishes Les
Hi Cally & All
It's Simon I from TTFF & Northfell here!
I've just found a copy of the "Oliver!" LP with Tony as one of the
boys, so I'll post a pic here as soon as I can sort out a scanner.
Cheers
