Hi ya Cally...

I would be honored to send you a DVD of Tony Robinson's WWOD. The DVD
is not restricted to any particular region of the world (and not
copy-protected in any way). In the past, I have traded DVDs with folks
in England and Wales, so I don't believe you'll have difficulty
watching it or sharing it.

As I mentioned in my post, you could share the programme with other TR
fans in the British Isles (including TR himself) as I would likely go
broke with the cost of international postage. (I have been sharing the
DVD with other fans in the States.)

I will need a full postal address, whether at home or at work or a
friends. You may send that information directly to my personal email
address to avoid publishing it at the Yahoo! Group.

Cheers,
Bob Bell

This is one of the programmes I get requests for and I'm sure people

I'd love a copy but not sure it would be any good for me, unless you

Sorry I've been pretty hopeless again, I must keep up with things in
here....

What sort of things were say at the Who do you think you are event? Did
Tony say anything about tracing his family tree, I've had an email
request about what if anything was said about his family, so I'd
thought I'd ask someone who was actually there.

Any info gratefully received, or if you liked to do a review of the
event I'd love to put it on the website, if you were happy for me to do
so. :-)

I have a good DVD copy of "The Wonderful World of Dung”, originally
recorded to VHS, as it aired on The Discovery Channel in the States in
the ’90s.

Commercials/ Adverts have been removed. The body of the program appears
essentially complete except for an unknown amount of missing footage
at the end of each commercial/advert break. (The person who taped it
made the mistake of waiting too long to resume the recording.)
Additionally, the end credits are not complete.

I’ll gladly give a DVD of the show to anyone in the States who
requests it at no charge, as long as the shipping costs are not too
high. (I’ll only need a mailing address to send it.)

Cheers,

mrbobbell

<mrbobbell@yahoo. com>

p.s. As I am in the States, I would prefer mailing the DVD to just one
person in the UK who can make copies for any other folks around the
British Isles who request it.

I see someone posted a similar request in 2006 and got no reply but
perhaps something has changed.

In 1993 my wife and I were on our honeymoon. We arrived at our hotel
very tired and when we woke up the next morning we ate room service and
watched, "The Wonderful World of Dung" on TV.

Fast forward to today. In one month and four days it will be our 15th
anniversary. I would very much like to have a copy of this show. Does
anyone have any idea of where one might find a copy? I am willing to
purchase it if possible.

I have watched ebay and amazon. I have tried to find the complete
Natural World series. I have checked with the library and interlibrary
loan. I have googled and followed up on leads from Toronto to Boise
and always come up empty. Can anyone help me? Are even the original
masters gone?

Thanks,
Greg

Hiya,

Welcome to the group, great to hear from you. It must have been really
exciting to have been in the original production of Oliver. Its
definately one of my favourite musicals. What do you think of the
search for stars for the new version of the show?

good to find a group that has links to the musical Oliver at last. I

I believe Tony Robinson plays a short scene in the brilliant "Gosford
Park"(2001) www.imdb.com/title/tt0280707/. He plays a
police-officer/assistant in a scene towards the end of the movie, in
famous Baldrick-stye.

Anyone else seen this? Am I right..?

Hello everyone,

Cally you asked which is our favourite Time Team so far this series,
the one on Sunday has to come close. The banter and friendly jibs
were very very good. It is true until you see the evidence you may
know/guess it is a town house or whatever but until you find artefacts
to date it properly then there is doubt.
But the best one is yet to come in a few weeks time: The countdown
has begun you know. Its DUNGANNON my home town. I cant wait, I
managed to talk to Phil about my piece of Flint and I still smile.
Its brill. You'll love it its all to do with The O'Neill's and
castles and stuff. XX Rhonda

I know that this is probably frowned upon, but as this is probably the only way
you'll be able to get the show in the States I hope I'll be forgiven for the
answer

Bittorrent is your solution

if you don't already use it, Wikipedia will tell you all you need to know to get
up and running with a torrent client

Here's where you can find a list of episodes avaialbe to download

I actually do have a metal detector, but its only been used in the back
garden( hardly a big area!) and to search the spoil heaps on a dig I
did a few years back, its not been touched for several years now.
Think it was bought on a whim........as so many things are! :-)

Hello all,

Sorry not been around much, ( I know call myself a fan!) nice to see
some new members have joined.

Hope you're all enjoying the new Time Team series. Anyone got a
favourite episode so far?

I'll try to keep posting as often as I can on here.

Best Wishes

Cally
