Hi,
your experiments will be of great interest to the likes of us who live in a
modern house. (Read for that, a miniscule gardem lol). I bought a 10M pole for
£22 from spratreader on e-bay. The only problem is that it is tapered (in order
to collapse) therefore the amount of wire it takes is reduced by this. I have a
vertical from Sandpiper wh I think are first class and if your experiments work,
I will order 10 metres woth. Could you please let me know the diameter of pole
used.
Many. many thanks.

when I develop the antenna more . I still have different wire lengths to
experiment with. This sort of antenna should work well with around 120' of wire
, although it is my intention to try & make it work to some extent using 66' of
wire . This would be 33' vertical & 33' horizontal.

my 10m Fishing Pole from a company called " Sandpiper " . I purchased the pole
at a radio rally & I think I paid £20 for it .

the antenna element. This should be lighter than the 1.5mm wire that I would
traditionally use for Base antennas. Here, I sourced the wire locally from a
firm called " Kingston Cables " . They are based in Willerby, on the outskirts
of Hull.
