... Walter The antenna is in equilibrium so there is no radiation from the line. You can check this out with a optimizer program by obtaining a std helix...

... What ever you do don't leave the wire in the sheaf. Cut the wire in pairs say 25 feet and pre twist them. Shame the G,s just wind the wire in one...
