A good friend of mine , Simon ( 2E0GMW ) has just homebrewed a helically wound
add on coil to make a High Sierra Sidekick operate on 160m .

Hopefully there will be more info & photos of this add on coil shortly,
which could well be adapted to make any 80m antenna work on 160m.

As usual, I'm still operating most evenings on 1.972mhz . I am looking forward
to Topband slowly opening up more , now that we have past mid-summers day & head
towards the darker nights.
