Hi Steve.
Thanks for the idea of Arundel Street will have to pop in there
lol i know he always used to get the "oddities" from time to
time,
Will have to see if i can get a decent picture of them lol, only
time i really see them is feeding time and they are waiting just
under surface and go ballistic as soon as food hits the water lol, i
am sure there must be some natteri in them,
As yet i have not noticed any attempt at pairings and they lovingly
demolish any rock structures i put together, and i gave up
trying to put plants in cos they just uprooted them, since i
rescued them thankfully only lost 2 fish, 1 which died shortly
after i got them which i guess was down to stress, and 1 who
decided he could fit between the heater and rear wall of tank
despite a heater guard being on it to stop that happening.
Still a lot of different sizes the tank they are in , I moved 6
into my Community tank they settled well and have the odd spat
with each other but generally leave other fish alone especially
the Ancistrus cats although they do try bully boy tactics when the
algae wafers are put in but usually get bulldozed away lol.
I did put some pics in an album in the group, also have a few on my
360 page.
Thanks again
Andy

being more confused than ever. Biggest problem with Cichlids is that
each species can vary so much. It's really quite a technical process
to identify each species, scale counts, teeth number shape fin rays
etc. So it's mostly an educated guess for us amateurs!

pretty sure I have kept them at some point. I think the only shop
arounfd here that used to get them from time to time was Arundel
Street. Might be worth popping in there sometime.
