Thanks for the reply. Ive stripped down my ornaments etc in the tank
once already, but the algae came back with vengence and now seems to
be thicker than ever - also it only seemd to take a couple of weeks to
come back so I dont fancy having to clean everything every fortnight!

Any idea why im getting this algae?

About these siamese fish you mentioned. If I get some, Is there
anything I need to now about keeping them? (numbers etc and other
special points)
