Hi, Welcome to our little group It's been a long time since I've kept any
Clarias, but, I used to feed mine fast sinking pellets, but these are not algae
feeders so the Algae wafer type will not be of benefit to them (though the plec
will love them!)and if you think they are big enough you could try prawns and
mussels as a supplement. If they take to these foods they should grow pretty
fast but the Plec shouldn't be troubled by them. The above feeding regime is
what my Tiger Shovelnose has, and he's about 24" now having grown from 6" last
Xmas!! Good luck with the Cats.
