Thanks for the info.
The test kit is new, purchased thas week.
I am concerned that even the tiny amout of food not eaten grows this
fungus in 24 hrs, I have never had this before.
The fish had a slimy film on them when they departed for the great
tank in the sky and also spots.

Any ideas.

Can you suggest a treatment for the tank to try to get rid of the
problem before adding any more fish.

test kit u have .?? cos rotting food should send NO2/NO3 of the
scale...!!
