first thing a 10/20% water change....then some methblue, but remove any carbon
filters as thay remove this treatment.Leave for about a week and see how your
fish are , methblue is a very good "Cure all " treatment and a good condictioner
for your fish. Also cut back on the food a bit , it wont hurt the fish at all if
you dont feed them for a few days...Any food not eaten in 5 min remove from the
tank.
As for the slime on the fish , i dont know...iv never had this so cant help
sorry mate.
Anyway hope this helps a bit...

Thanks for the info.
The test kit is new, purchased thas week.
I am concerned that even the tiny amout of food not eaten grows this
fungus in 24 hrs, I have never had this before.
The fish had a slimy film on them when they departed for the great
tank in the sky and also spots.
Any ideas.
Can you suggest a treatment for the tank to try to get rid of the
problem before adding any more fish.
Regards
Mark

uneaten food in the tank ...Also test water again...How old is the
test kit u have .?? cos rotting food should send NO2/NO3 of the
scale...!!
