Hi and welcome to the group. As far as I know there are no external differences
between the sexes in this species and they have not been recorded as having bred
in captivity. Make sure the fish are not kept with small 'Neon Tetra' sized fish
as they will eat them as they get bigger. And look out for the spine on the
dorsal fin it is capable of piercing the skin and can cause an allergic reaction
in some people.
